Film Option for Adam Nevill’s Award-winning Horror Novel LAST DAYS
Actor and screenwriter Adam Storke has optioned Adam Nevill’s horror novel LAST DAYS. The book was published in the U.K 2012 by Macmillan UK, and in the U.S. by St Martin’s Press in 2013. It won the British Fantasy Society’s award for Best Horror Novel of the year and has been highly praised.
The story focuses on Kyle Freeman, a deep in debt, documentary filmmaker who reluctantly accepts the financial backing of an enigmatic self-help guru to make a movie about an infamous cult, The Temple of the Last Days. The tale is unique, atmospheric and deeply disturbing.
Adam Storke optioned two other properties, Richard Lange’s THIS WICKED WORLD and THE NIGHT SHE DISAPPEARED by April Henry, which he adapted into screenplays. Storke is represented by the Nethercott Agency. The deal was brokered by Maggie Field on behalf of Storke and The Gotham Group in Los Angeles, representing the John Jarrold Literary Agency.
