Second three-book world rights deal for urban fantasy writer Suzanne McLeod

Jo Fletcher, Gollancz’s Associate Publisher, has acquired World Rights in three more supernatural thrillers by Suzanne McLeod, for a decent five-figure sum in UK pounds. The agent was John Jarrold.

These books continue the Spellcrackers.com series set in London and star Genevieve Taylor, a Sidhe who runs into supernatural crime, dark romance and trouble at every turn. The provisional titles are The Shifting Price of Prey, The Hidden Rune of Iron and The Sharp Bite of Ritual.

Suzanne’s first two books have been sold to Germany and the US, and have received praise from the mainstream and genre press, as well as authors including international bestseller Charlaine Harris, author of the Sookie Stackhouse vampire novels now produced for TV as True Blood. Suzanne lives on the South Coast of England, with her husband and dogs.
