TWO MORE RIGHTS DEALS FOR CALLING MAJOR TOM BY DAVID M BARNETT

Jessica Purdue, Senior Rights Manager at Orion, has confirmed two further subsidiary rights deals for CALLING MAJOR TOM by David M Barnett, making a total so far of ten territories.

 

HarperCollins Iberica have acquired Portuguese rights, having already taken on Spanish rights.

 

Brazilian rights have been sold to Renata Pettengill at Editora Record, one of the biggest publishing houses in Brazil.

 

Sam Eades at Orion commissioned the novel for the Trapeze imprint and acquired world rights from agent John Jarrold in March 2016. The book was published in June 2017.  It has sold over 50,000 copies, received over 1,000 5-star reviews on Goodreads and has been optioned for film by award-winning content production company Vision3.
