CHRIS BECKETT’S AMERICA CITY CHOSEN FOR BBC RADIO 2 BOOK CLUB
Chris Beckett will appear on Simon Mayo’s BBC Radio 2 programme, which airs between 5pm and 7pm, on Monday November 27. Only 26 books are chosen for the Book Club every year, out of the tens of thousands published in the UK. As you’ll see below, recent authors have included Vic James, Robert Harris, Laura Purcell and Matt Haig. In 2011, Ben Aaronovitch’s first Peter Grant novel RIVERS OF LONDON was chosen for the club, which assisted his immediate growth in sales and recognition with a wide audience.
