Rhys Hughes was born in 1966 in Cardiff, Wales, and began to compose short stories in earnest until 1980, writing regularly before his first acceptance in 1992. Since then he has persisted in attempting to become the most prolific author in Wales, with short fiction and novels published in the UK and US.
